Last seen in Miami's Coral Way area, 71-year-old Luis Larcada became the subject of a citywide search this past week. The City of Miami Police exhaustively worked to locate the elderly man after he was reported missing. In an update that surely brought relief to the community and family, the police announced around 11 p.m. yesterday that Larcada had been safely recovered. WSVN detailed that before he was found, Larcada had last been seen in a part of Coral Way that remains unspecified to the public. While the specifics of how Larcada was located have not been revealed, the fact that the community's elderly can count on such an outpouring of concern is testament to the collective spirit of Miami's residents.
