It wasn't just Caitlin Clark who had a busy weekend. While the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year was preoccupied with her preparations for Saturday's highly anticipated season-opening matchup against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky , Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, were engaged in hosting a major charity event.

Clark and the Fever ended up blowing out the Sky on Saturday, 93-58, to send a clear message of intent in their first game of the new season. Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, on the other hand, also had a very successful time throwing a high-profile gathering in the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation Vegas Golf Classic.

Brittany Mahomes took to Instagram on Sunday to send a heartfelt message of gratitude to everyone who helped make the event a huge success. She also shared a handful of photos of herself posing with Patrick Mahomes during the gala night on Friday.

While Clark was not able to attend the charity event in Las Vegas, the Fever guard showed the Mahomes couple some love by liking the post. It was a low-key nod from Clark as she subtly expressed how much she likes Brittany Mahomes' new photos.

Clark is a well-known Chiefs fan. In fact, she even attended the team's Divisional Round matchup against the Houston Texans back in January. The former Iowa superstar made the trip to Arrowhead Stadium, where she sat beside Taylor Swift in the VIP box.

There has already been talk about Swift, along with her boyfriend Travis Kelce , potentially attending an Indiana game this season. Perhaps the power couple will bring Patrick and Brittany Mahomes with them should they do so, as they all show their support for Clark and the Fever's quest for a championship in 2025.
