COLUMBIA — The maintenance crew at the Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center worked overnight to repair a major water main break.

Residents were provided water bottles and port-a-potties were set up onsite following the main break, a Missouri Department of Corrections spokesperson told KOMU 8.

The water main break was reported Sunday and expected to be repaired by Monday afternoon.

The Department of Corrections will continue providing residents with bottled water as a boil advisory is enacted, the spokesperson said.
