For Some, The Garage Is Their Gallery.
If you want to turn your garage into a gallery you can do one of two things, you can either put your kid's college savings into installing lifts, coating the floor, and buying half the Snap-on tool catalogue, or you can get rid of all your junk and buy an Alfa Romeo. Then all you'll need is a chair to sit back in to admire your machine(s) and an elevator speech as to why cars are more than just an appliance, they're rolling works of art. That's why it's perfectly acceptable to spend $668k on a 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, and just as acceptable to park it in your living room.
To compare, this Jackson Pollock reportedly sold for $140 million.

Making this so much more worth it:

Ideally, though you'd probably prefer something like Jay Leno's garage, only with your own twist. So, to help you brainstorm/dream, check out these crazy over-the-top garages that any gear head would love to have as their gallery.
Now he purposely gets kicked to the couch
Only way I'd leave is if I had the keys
Like a miniature DIA
Now that's a stable
Jag heaven
Sometimes this is all we need
I could get used to this one
Lovely view
