A woman driving a car ran over a father and his son in the Green Plaza Mall parking lot on Monday, leaving them with serious injuries.

Police responded quickly and arrived at the accident scene where a father and his 7-year-old son were hit and suffering from fractures and bruises. The child's condition remains critical and unstable.

The clip showed the Egyptian girl accidentally pressing the gas pedal instead of the brake, running over the father and son and dragging them for about 10 meters.

The investigation authorities in Alexandria ordered the release of the accused girl, with a guarantee of her place of residence.
