LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Lancaster man is facing a murder charge after allegedly killing a woman in Virginia.

Frank Monte, 58, was arrested Feb. 19 for the alleged murder of Tiny Ruby on Jan. 14 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, according to court documents.

In February, a Virginia jury indicted Monte of murder and charges related to firearm and drug possession.

Online court records indicate his trial is set to begin April 14.

CBS 21 reached out to the sheriff’s office, who confirmed that Ruby and Monte were in a relationship at the time of the alleged murder.
