PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md (7News) — A man was charged with murder for stabbing his wife to death in Oxon Hill, Maryland on Saturday, according to the Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD). On the morning of March 15, a friend of 33-year-old LeNaiya Donaldson called police to report a domestic dispute inside LeNaiya's home in the 1100 block of Kennebec Street, officials said. A few minutes later, PGPD received a second call, which was from 38-year-old Kenton Donaldson, the husband of LeNaiya, officials said. Kenton confessed to police that he had stabbed LeNaiya during an argument, officials said. Kenton told police he fled the scene following the stabbing and drove to a relative's home in Virginia, officials said. Police said, with the assistance of the Fairfax County Police Department, they found and took Kenton into custody. When PGPD officers arrived at the home of LeNaiya, they found her suffering from multiple stab wounds and she was pronounced dead on the scene, officials said. Kenton was charged with first-degree murder and other related charges, officials said. He remains in custody in Fairfax County pending extradition to Prince George's County, officials said. As the investigation remains ongoing, officials ask anyone who has information about the stabbing to call detectives at 301-516-2512.
