Direct access to nature—whether that means a beach or a purpose-built wildlife habitat—is the chief amenity among some of the priciest new developments hitting the market around the world this season. Some notable examples include 81 Yarranabbe, a project in Sydney's affluent Darling Point suburb, where residents will share a pool right at the waterfront with sweeping views over Sydney Harbour and access to a private jetty. Marina access will also be available at the new Faena Residences Miami, while a new project in nearby Coral Gables will have a dedicated outdoor yoga space. That amenity will even be on offer in Manhattan, where developers are adding yoga terraces as well as open-air rooftop lounges and kitchens as shared amenities. But the city where developers have put the wildest spin on access to nature is Dubai, where upcoming project Muraba Veil will have a bona fide sand dune on site as part of an “oasis”-themed courtyard. Read about these new projects and more from our top markets in this seven-part series.
