Police are investigating a shooting in north Wichita that left a victim with serious injuries.

The shooting was reported around 5:30 Tuesday morning in the 1500 block of North Poplar.

Police said a man in his 40s was shot by a woman in a domestic violence incident. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment.
