In a presser Thursday evening, Baltimore County Police Chief Robert McCullough announced that the officer injured in a shooting near the Wilkens precinct is out of surgery and resting at Shock Trauma. According to Chief McCullough, a man shot the officer in the torso. Officers shot the suspect and transported him to a local hospital. Chief McCullough thanked the officers at the scene of the shooting and the doctor that operated on the officer.
