West Coast rap legend Snoop Dogg is bringing his laid-back beats and lyrical prowess to the cornfields of Illinois this summer, headlining the Grandstand stage at the State Fair on August 13. Known for his hit tracks like "Gin & Juice" and "Drop It Like It's Hot," the Doggfather's presence signals a night of nostalgia and head-bobbing for both old-school hip-hop heads and the TikTok generation alike.

With a career stretching over three decades, Snoop has transformed from a chart-topping rapper to a multi-industry entrepreneur, with fingers in everything from weed to tech to food and beverage. According to a recent press release , the Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II remarked, "We are excited to bring Snoop Dogg back to Springfield and the Illinois State Fair," highlighting his reputation as a crowd favorite with "incredible energy."

"This show on the Grandstand stage will be one for the ages," Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark told the press .

Tickets for Snoop's State Fair gig will be available starting March 15 at 10 a.m., with a range of pricing, from the $85 seats in Tier 3 to the swanky $165 Blue Ribbon Zone. A special $30 Pre-Show Party ticket is also up for grabs for those looking to amp up their evening. All ticket options can be snatched up through Ticketmaster.
