HOUSTON – The Texans’ overhaul of their offensive line continued Thursday as they finalized a trade for offensive guard Ed Ingram, sending a 2026 sixth-round pick to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for the former LSU standout, per a league source.

The Texans previously traded Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil to the Washington Commanders. They traded offensive guard Kenyon Green, a former first-round draft pick who was a disappointment and was benched, in exchange for safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson. And they released offensive guard Shaq Mason, acquiring Laken Tomlinson on a one-year, $5 million deal.

Ingram, 26, is a former second-team All-Southeastern Conference selection at LSU.

Ingram (6-foot-3, 307 pounds) had a 54.1 Pro Football Focus overall grade last season with a 58.1 run blocking grade and a 49.1 pass blocking grade. In 580 offensive snaps, he allowed five sacks and was penalized three times.

He was drafted in the second round in 2022 with the 59th overall pick.

He’s heading into the final year of a four-year, $5.997 million deal. He’s due a $3.263 million base salary that includes his base salary rookie escalator.

He played in 16 games last season and started nine of them.
