In an incident that shook a Northwest neighborhood, the Metropolitan Police Department has reported the arrest of a suspect tied to an armed robbery, an incident taking place in the early hours of a Sunday morning. According to a press release from the MPD, last Sunday, at around 12:28 a.m., a person waiting at a bus stop near Vermont Avenue and U Street was accosted by several individuals wielding firearms who emptied the victim's pockets and made their escape by car.

The account continues, stating that officers from the Third District, alerted by the victim, spotted the suspects' vehicle shortly after the incident and performed a traffic stop. During the stop, an arrest was made, and a firearm was seized, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Department . Nathaniel Mysion, 23, from Severn, MD, now faces charges of Armed Robbery and Carrying a Pistol Without a License.
