All day today, Dairy Queen will be giving away free small vanilla ice cream cones nationwide – sorry mall-goers it excludes the mall locations – for DQ's annual free ice cream day! Limit is one per person. The chain hopes that by sweeting you up you'll pitch a small donation, a dollar or two, some spare change, or whatever you can give into a jar headed to your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital!
And it turns out, sweets lead to sweetness. Last year, the drive raised over $200,000 and since its beginning – over the past 32 years – Dairy Queen has raised over $120 million!
