VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (KLTV) - Former Whitehouse Lady Cat Aly Navarro finished in the top 10 and helped the Hardin-Simmons women’s golf team capture their first team title since 2018 at the Marlins Invitational at Cypress Point Country Club in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The junior was one of three Cowgirls to finish in the top 10.

Navarro shot a pair of 87’s to finish eighth overall. The Cowgirls finished 11 strokes ahead of second place.

Hardin-Simmons will return to action on March 31 at the Eagles Bluff Intercollegiate at the Eagles Bluff Country Club in Bullard.
